From This Day Forward

Pastors and family life leaders now can offer the quality of the From This Day Forward marriage conference in their own churches. Adventist Communication Network has teamed up with Family Ministries to produce this celebration of marriage commitment.

The seminar is designed primarily for a group event that can be held over a weekend or once a week for several weeks. All of the promotional materials are supplied on the DVD, including poster design, bulletin inserts and announcements. The DVD can also be used for premarital education for engaged couples as well as marriage enrichment for couples to engage in at home. Each segment comes with a teaching section and then a couple exercises for the partners to practice their new skills. A From This Day Forward workbook should be obtained for each participating couple. About the Presenters

The conference features marriage and family professionals from the North American Division Family Ministries.

Elaine and Willie Oliver
The director of financial aid at Columbia Union College, Elaine also serves as marriage and family consultant for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in North America.She has a graduate degree in Higher education and Counseling. An ordained minister, Willie is director of Family Ministries for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in North America. He holds graduate degrees in Pastoral Counseling and Family Sociology; is a certified family life educator and a published author.

Gayle and Mike Tucker
Gayle serves as pastor for Administration, Children’s, Women’s, and Music Ministries for the Arlington Church. An ordained minister, Mike serves as the senior pastor of the Arlington Seventh-day Adventist Church in Texas and Ministerial director for the Texas Conference. He has also had experience as a guidance counselor and hospital chaplain and holds a degree in Education.


Willie Lee and Wilma Kirk-Lee
Pastor Willie Lee, BD, MDiv, is the director for family Ministries in the Southwest Region Conference. Wilma Kirk-Lee is the executive director of the Center for Family Wholeness in Houston, Texas. She is a licensed clinical social worker and certified family life educator.



Brenda and Mike Aufderhar
A registered nurse, Brenda has her own specialty practice in CranioSacral therapy and has been an active partner in team ministry with her husband.As an ordained minister, Mike has served in pastoral, campus, hospital and family ministries. Currently, he pastors the Middletown Adventist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. Together they direct the Family Ministries Department for the Kentucky-Tennessee Conference.
